Joon Kang taught himself the piano at the age of 18. Two years later, he earned a scholarship from Berklee College of Music. Joon has performed and recorded with many keyboard legends, including Don Randi and Matt Rollings. Joon has studied with world-class pianists, including Nikolai Mishchenko, Alain Mallet, Robert Christopherson, Laszlo Gardony, Jason Yeager, and John Paul McGee. Joon holds a Bachelor’s in Songwriting from Berklee College of Music. As a teacher, Joon is passionate about helping students develop a relationship with their inner creative voice and express their emotions with music.
