Joon Kang taught himself the piano at the age of 18. Two years later, he earned a scholarship to Berklee College of Music. Joon has performed and recorded with keyboard legends Don Randi and Matt Rollings and has studied with six world-class pianists: Nikolai Mishchenko, Alain Mallet, Robert Christopherson, Laszlo Gardony, Jason Yeager, and John Paul McGee. Joon has performed and recorded with keyboard legends Don Randi and Matt Rollings. Joon holds a Bachelor’s in Songwriting from Berklee College of Music. As a teacher, Joon is passionate about helping students develop a relationship with their inner creative voice and express their emotions with music.
